Saumur-Champigny vineyard

Almost all "vignerons" sell their wines directly from the estate. It is best to call them up. You will most of the time be invited to taste their production on site and if you create a good contact, they will be proud to show their peculiar cellars often dug in the rock centuries ago. On Saturday morning, on place Saint Pierre in Saumur, don't miss the colourful and charming market where you will find the best quality product, straight from the grower.

Every second Sunday of the month, a really nice antiques fair takes place in Montsoreau ! on the banks of the river where you should find the item you dreamed of without even knowing

Zoological Park: very interesting location in former fallun quarries (limestone) at Doué la Fontaine: all varieties of REALLY rare and beautiful animals. Suitable for children but adults come back fascinated too.
